Following a similar pattern to the Southern Manufacturing Show, the wide-ranging portfolio of parts, manufacturing hardware, and engineering services being showcased makes it a highly helpful event for designers, procurement specialists, and engineers from across the North.

Over 250 firms are expected to participate in the event, starting from leading international brands to highly-talented local engineering companies with specialist knowledge in areas like automotive, aerospace, and process engineering. The show is being sponsored by the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA), plus several different prominent national organizations, including Composites UK, the SMMT, the GTMA, the BGA, and the CBM. Each brings affluence of trade knowledge and experience to the event, offering both an extremely accessible sector resource and data-sharing opportunities through the show’s intensive free technical seminar program.

Northern Manufacturing & Electronics presents an excellent opportunity to see the newest machinery being demonstrated live, from 5-axis machining to 3D printing. Leading national distributors returning for 2019 embody XYZ Machine Instruments, Haas Automation, Laser Lines, Tri-tech 3D, and HPC Laser. Other distributors represent Middlesbrough-based Dynamic Machine Instruments and EDM specialists Makrep EDM Solutions.

Component distributors exhibiting include superior manufacturing specialists Igus UK, Luso Electronics, Fischer Connectors, LCD screen suppliers Crystal Tech Electronics, layer keyboards from Calman Technology and high-tech transducers and sensors from ESI Technology.

Manufacturing hardware on show contains marking, printing and traceability techniques from Brady and Dakota Integrated Solutions, office storage from Bott, metrology systems from Faro, Zeiss and Nikon Metrology, and manufacturing software program from CIM Software, ANSY Spaceclaim, 123-Insight, and Redthorn. First-time exhibitors at Northern Manufacturing 2019 include industrial energy transmission specialists Ringspann UK, Eurotherm from Schneider Electric and China’s Bodor Laser, with its array of engraving, marking machines and cutting.
